Adams & Martin Group is currently working with a boutique Minneapolis firm looking for a Real Estate Attorneyto join their local team. The full-service law firm has a dynamic presence in the Minneapolis market dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to their diverse national client base.

As a Real Estate Attorney, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal counsel and strategic guidance in all aspects of real estate transactions. You will be responsible for managing complex legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and contributing to the overall success of the organization's real estate initiatives. This senior-level position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of real estate law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a legal team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate agreements, such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture agreements, and financing documents.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to executives, stakeholders, and internal teams on real estate matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct legal research to stay abreast of industry trends, changes in regulations, and other legal developments affecting real estate transactions.
• Manage and perform thorough due diligence on real estate transactions, including review of surveys, titles, zoning, and environmental assessments.
• Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with real estate projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in MN
• 4+ years of experience as a real estate attorney, with a proven track record of managing complex transactions.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
